Just finished at 12:15am or so – roughly a five hour game, and I am baked.
A better result this time for Simple Minds, as we beat the lower-rated team “118 Legacy” 3-1. However, we had some shaky moments. Matt rose from the dead to draw, and my opponent (Brian Singh, 1589) was very tough and definitely had some chances. Tim provided a signature tactical blowout. Yay Tim.
Round three starts at 11am tomorrow. It’ll be interesting to see whether we get paired up or down and whether any of the big guns, the GMs, have been nicked yet.
It’s been a long week and I miss my family.
