Even though it’s a narrative, and that’s supposed to get people over the hump.
There is a wonderful therapeutic effect in blogging. I have all these really stupid ideas simmering in my brain, sometimes for years, and the old-fashioned part of me thinks “nobody would publish this!” but with WordPress now *I* can publish it – and then move on with my life. :)
There’s another version where John Henry works in a bagel shop. But I think the whole concept has been put to rest now.
