Happy Friday, Mr. Churchill

I have dangled more prepositions than you can shake a stick at.

I have dangled more prepositions than the number of prepositions at which you can shake a stick.

Prepositions, more than you can shake a stick at them or which have I dangled.

  1. Reminds me of my favorite Harvard joke:

A young Harvard freshman from Kentucky was lost on campus. He stopped an older looking student and asked, “Where’s the Widener Library at?” The upperclassman replied, “Young man, at Harvard we do not end a sentence with a preposition.” The Kentuckian replied, “All right, where’s the Widener Library at, asshole?”

    :)

  2. Didn’t Yoda end every sentence with a preposition? And was not he in the room the smartest guy? Or was it a participle? Something dangled, anyway.
